Not a big fan of the automated setlist message "No exact match found, but here's a list from (5 years later)". Can that be got rid of?
Inaccurate set lists
2 votesOne potential solution that I’m considering is adding a checkbox in your user settings to turn off the ‘not exact setlists’. That way each user can decide if they want to see them or not. I’ll keep an eye on this idea and see if more users are interested in this.

fix to sort "number of concerts" on venue tab to include all pages
when I sort by number of concerts of my profile page under the venue tab it only sorts the venues on that particular page. I have 3 pages of venues in my profile and would like to sort them by which I've been to most frequently

Create a "Date Search"
Much like the similar site BoxRec.com has (re: boxing bouts), create a "Date Search" option so that visitors can learn all bouts in the database for a specific date (maybe also that can be filtered by dregion/location).
See BoxRec: https://boxrec.com/en/date2 votes -
Add artist names to flashback push notifications
Right now, push notifications for flashbacks only show the tour name if available (e.g. "10 years ago today, you saw... 10th Anniversary Tour.) For tours with universal or ambiguous names, it'd be nice to also see the artist name in the push notification.

Automatically Save Comments & Reviews and Edit
I've done this a couple of times, wrote in a pile of info and then clicked the add to archive button but forgot to hit the post comment button, and then I start over. Also an edit button for the comments. Both of these would help a lot. Thanks for this great site, love it!

Venue(s) with Different Halls
Because I just stumbled over it...
It would be nice if you could choose which hall the concert has taken place, e.g. WERK 2 in Leipzig. This venue has the following halls:
:: Werk 2 - Halle A: https://www.concertarchives.org/slevin-kelevra/venues/werk-2-halle-a-1c81c308-80cd-4794-8ef0-1d4a725539bf
:: Werk - Halle D: https://www.concertarchives.org/slevin-kelevra/venues/werk-2-halle-d-fe2a62e2-1055-4237-8561-d52fd141f3fd
It's the same venue (just different halls) so it would be nice if it would be counted as one.
It also exist an entry just for Werk 2 (which needs to merge with another one but I already sent a report for that):
:: https://www.concertarchives.org/venues/werk-2--3It would be nice if all the concerts could be…

Fix the mobile app notification behavior
When I select a notification for a show I previously attended, the landing spot within the mobile app should be the show I saw, not the news feed. The news feed is always the same person's activities. Don't care. Send me to the show details on my page that you were notifying me about.

Link To BandsInTown or Similar apps.
This might be a request more for those app developers than for you, but I think if we could link ConcertArchives and BandsInTown we could have more accurate details on concerts (Full list of Band names/Accurate Spelling, Venue, Location, etc...)
This could also be used to attach the poster art to the performance/tour.
Lastly, this would just reduce a step for people who use that app as a method of purchasing tickets or even just keeping track of what bands are coming,2 votes -
Digital Concerts
During the Pandemic, we saw a rise in digital/streamed performances by artists.
Having a toggle for whether you attended a concert in-person or digitally would be nice.2 votes -

Duplicate the general background concept and launch a sister site called 'Theatre Archives' where theater lovers can track shows
I'd love for there to be a similar site for this for Theatre where I can upload playbill photos, track shows, see who was in the cast of that run, etc.

Show number of countries / cities / venues an artist has played shows in
Would be interesting to see this info on artists' pages like you can see this info on users' pages.
Example: 'X artist has played concerts in 52 countries, 82 cities, and 95 venues'.
Ideally this would include the option to see a full list of the countries/cities/venues in descending or ascending order, again like on users' pages - this would also show an artists' most visited venues, cities, and countries.

Change the way you "Select the bands you saw"
For festival concerts with MANY bands, instead of starting with the whole roster already checked and needing to deselect the bands NOT seen, how about having to actually select the bands seen instead.

add an option to enter what I paid for the ticket
Can be a private option, visible only to each user. Just to keep track of expenses per gig / year / overall.

let users rate concert experience and give feedback on how late shows start to help other users make decision on whether they would go.
Concerts are expensive and take a lot of time. Many concerts start notoriously late, which is challenging for people who have limited transportation or babysitters. It would be helpful if similar to Yelp (where we rate restaurants) we can rate concerts we have attended and whether we would recommend them to others depending on start time, quality of show, opener, etc.

Late show option for nonstandard events
Add "late show" as an option for non standard concert selection.
Eg, if a venue has more than one show in a day, yes we can put "early show" but there is no "late show" option.
Also in specific relation to Electronic shows, which typically start late, doors at 10pm or 11pm with the show going into the wee hours of the morning. It isn't a "regular time" concert. If someone is going to two events the same night and one is a regular time show and the other is a late show, you can't differ between them without this…2 votes
