allow you to check which day(s) you attended multi-day concerts
I've gone to several multi-day festivals and they only count as one concert. It would be nice to check that I went to day 1 of a festival, or all days, etc. and have that count as separate concerts.

Better Interface for capturing festival information
Loving the site and it's helping me get rid of my really long spreadsheet finally.
I go to lots of festivals and I feel like the interface works really well for single day concerts but not so well for festivals. Some feedback and issues listed below:
- It would be nice to state what day of the festival the band played, so Slipknot played on day 1 of the festival for example. Or if they played multiple times, then Day 1 and 2.
- it would be nice to be able to mark an event as a festival, which enables different features.

Editing Bands on Edit Concert Page
If I made a typo typing in a band's name, I cannot edit the band's name in the 'edit concert' page. I must remove bands and re-add them individually.

Add a rating system
I think it would be great to see opinions of shows from other users. goodreads.com has a 1-5 stars feature that works really well and has been valuable for me

Add a calendar function that shows concerts attended.
I was looking for a calendar on my page that would show a populated calendar with marks on each date that I had attended a concert. So if I'm looking at June, I might have marks on June 3, 15 and 29. If I hover over, it would show the name and year of the concert, and if I click maybe go to the show I logged. It would be nice to see how many concerts I attended on July 4th for example. Thanks

Ability to see a list of how many times users have seen a band to see who has seen them the most
List ordering users who have seen a band in order of how many times theyve seen that band.
14 votesThanks for the suggestion! The main reason we haven't done this (and don't currently have plans to do it) is because we don't require any verification that a person attended a concert. Because of that, there is nothing stopping somebody (or spammer) from saying they attended all of the concerts to artificially show themselves at the top of the leaderboard.
We'll keep this idea in mind but there isn't currently a way to create a "real" leaderboard like you are hoping for, unfortunately.

Option to manually sort/order and rename YT videos.
An option to sort the YT videos would be great, so that they can appear in approximate order of the setlist. Same applies to photos.
Also, while it's nice to have the name of the uploader mentioned, it would be better to have the YT video title appear so that one can see what it's showing without actually playing it. If that YT titel could be even editable, that would be perfect.

Show how many and which concerts you and another user have both attended
I think Concert Archives' social element could be enhanced with a feature that, when you view another user's profile, shows how many and which concerts you and the other user have mutually attended.
I'm truly not sure, but I think this could be a relatively easy feature to implement?
Thanks as always for your amazing work on the site!

Anticipated Concerts List
There should be a section to add a list, like the watchlist function on Letterboxd, for bands you would like to see in the future but are not on tour near you. Just a thought, but could really be useful.

Personal Archives, not shared.
Make all archives personal archives and not linked together for other people to add onto.

Add friends via Facebook
I would be great if we could add friends to our concert archive and to theirs as well via fb, not only via email

Tour name as concert title rather then performing artists
I much preferred the title for shows being the tour name rather than the artists performing on said tour, It just makes so more sense. Change it back please!!

Add field for ticket cost, seat location, seat #, and how you acquired ticket
Add new fields for:
- Ticket Cost
- Seat Location (i.e. general admission, pit, lower/upper level, VIP, private suite, etc)
- Seat Number (i.e. sec 116, row F, seat 5)
- Where you purchased/acquired your ticket (i.e. a ticketing website, gifted to you, won a contest, someone selling on street outside venue, working the event, artist friends/family comp list, snuck in, etc)11 votes -
Festivals/Multi-Day Events count towards total concert count
I want each day of a festival to count towards a different concert! I personally count it that way and my total concert count is off because they are counted per-event rather than per-day.

Two Tour and Gig Title fields instead of one Concert Title field
I'd like to differentiate between the name of the event and the name of the tour. For example, I should be able to list that the Radio ABC Holiday Jam was part of XYZ Album Promo Tour, instead of having to pick one or the other.

Add a time field in addition to date
Being able to indicate the time of the show in addition to the date would be beneficial. I'm still just beginning to enter my concerts, and I have already encountered a couple of times where this would have been helpful.
Reasons/Examples:
1) Some artists will do 2 shows on the same day when there's enough demand to add an additional show, but not enough days on their schedule to add extras. E.g. Garth Brooks doing multiple shows on same day - a 1:00 pm and a 7:30pm on a Saturday. Two separate shows & separate tickets = a need for…10 votesWe're working on this!
One thing we've found is that entering a time can be kind of subjective though. For example some people might enter the time that the doors open, or when the concert was scheduled to start, or when the concert actually started, or when the headliner went on.
Rather than give the option to enter any time, our plan is to add options for "Non-Standard Times". For example if the concert was an "Early Show" or an "After Party" or a "VIP Soundcheck". That sort of thing.
Our hope is that solves the problem of false-positive duplicate concerts being merged together because they share all the same date/location/venue/band while also not creating a bunch of "real duplicate" concerts due to slightly mismatched times.

Ways to follow bands to stay updated on upcoming tours/shows near you
It would be nice to be able to follow bands to see when new tours/shows are announced, especially in local areas.

Allow personalized display options
Currently, the "show band lineup and title" option effects everyone who has been to the concert and requires an edit to the concert itself. If someone wants to show both the title and lineup (or not showing the title/lineup) they currently can't do that on their own profile. Adding an option to choose whether titles and/or lineups display on your profile would allow more customization for users.

Allow differentiation between "Concerts Attended" and "Concerts Performed"
For those of us who may be/have been touring musicians and/or performers, it would be nice to be able to differentiate between Attended and Performed concerts. ie, a way to keep track of your personal tour dates.
