yes to both ideas of rating concerts and individual bands. maybe the option to do this privately

Thanks for the suggestion! The main reason we haven't done this (and don't currently have plans to do it) is because we don't require any verification that a person attended a concert. Because of that, there is nothing stopping somebody (or spammer) from saying they attended all of the concerts to artificially show themselves at the top of the leaderboard.
We'll keep this idea in mind but there isn't currently a way to create a "real" leaderboard like you are hoping for, unfortunately.

yes the feature could be abused but it would be cool to see who has seen which bands the most.
could you prove you were at the concert somehow? photos/videos/setlist/ticket stub uploads, have a fellow user vouch that you were at the concert?

I would like the option to hide or private my future concerts (without setting my whole profile as private)
"Bands seen" count should not include future gigs in my opinion.

seeing a band more than once at a festival, doesn't seem to be a way to display this currently

Adding features specifically for festivals is something we definitely want to do!
Please post your ideas about what features you’d like to see and we’ll take them under consideration when we start our planning for this.

For festivals in cities - like Brighton Great Escape (UK) - it would be good to list the venue and timings that artists played. Also sometimes artists play multiple times at same festival but different venues. If I see a band more than once there's currently no way to add this.

would like for uploaded images to be categorized:
eg. concert photos, posters/flyers, setlists, runtimes, ticket stubs.
so you can filter them or display them seperately -

Amount spent on tickets (and ability to have this as a private statistic). Amount spent per band.

Hi everybody, I thought I'd give you all an update on this one.
We've done a lot of work on this over the last couple of years, but this is the sort of project that is going to be ongoing pretty far into the future.
Things that have been done:
- Added the 'Report Issue' functionality to the website (in the navigation) where users can report duplicates that they come across
- Added admin tools to merge duplicate Bands/Venues/Locations/Concerts when we find them or when a user reports them.
- Created 'aliases' behind the scenes for Bands/Venues/Locations so that any duplicates that we merge won't pop up again in the future as duplicates.
- We now verify locations against the external Geonames database to standardize them.
- Implemented a location verification step after a concert is created to prompt the user to verify and standardize the location that they entered.
- Reviewed all of the locations…

We have a feature planned where we'll be able to group Venues & Bands in the future to do this. We don't have an ETA on that, it'll probably be awhile, but we'll get there 😅

giving a concert a review score would be good, scores for each individual band's sets. Maybe add the ability to keep this private also.
