Setting to enable anniversary notifications only for "milestone" anniversaries
I go to a LOT of concerns and that ultimately translates into now receiving concert anniversaries almost daily (1 year ago you saw X, 2 years ago you saw Y). Its spammy enough that I have decided to turn them off but I would have loved a setting that only told me on milestone anniversaries meaning "10 years go you saw X, 25 years ago you saw Y). I don't actually want them off I just want them to really mean something.
5 votesThis is now live! In your Notification Settings you'll see an option to only include 'Milestone' anniversaries. Similarly when you are on your Anniversaries page, you can filter it to only milestones.
Thanks for the suggestion 👍️

When clicking another profile, see which bands you've both seen
For more networking with others would love the ability to click a users profile and see how it overlaps. Most basic feature would be shows we've been to together, but also which bands we've seen in common would be great. Would make me interested in seeing other shows they are going to/connect
21 votesThis is done and now available on both the website and app. Read more here: https://www.patreon.com/concertarchives/posts/version-17-see-165212236

Add an option to upload an event banner image
I think it would make sense for the event page to have a dedicated space to add and display the official event banner.
This would be useful in the event details page, so each event can show its official visual identity or promotional banner.
1 voteHey there, this feature is available. It's called "Cover Photos". Once you have uploaded a photo to a concert, in the Photo Settings menu you can choose it as the Cover Photo.

Delete an event created by mistake
How can an event be deleted from the artists site when it is not a public event? I mistakenly added it.
3 votesIf you mistakenly create an event, just remove it from your archive and it'll be automatically deleted from the database at the end of the night.

Location for all anniversary shows and anniversaries coming up
I get email and push notifications on an anniversary of a show but is there someone in the app that shows it? Like in News Feed or Notifications? Would be cool to see an area where it shows current anniversaries and anniversaries coming up
0 votesThere is now an 'Anniversaries' page in the app and website that shows all of your anniversaries for any day you choose.

When adding multiple photos at once, be able to add photo credit and tags for all at the same time
Right now if I add multiple photos from desktop at once, I still have to go in individually to add photo credit information and tags. I would like to apply the same information to everything I upload for a a particular show at once.
4 votesWe now have bulk editing functionality to add tags, credits, etc to multiple photos at once. Learn more here: https://www.patreon.com/concertarchives/posts/top-secret-post-162442084/

Add a counter on how many bands are in a festival
When looking at a festival, would be good to know how many bands are listed on it so if someone has more information it can include the missing bands.
1 voteGood idea! We just added the total amount of bands performing to the "Band Line-up" heading on the Concert page as well as the amount of both bands seen and bands unseen.
This is available on the website now and will be available in the app when the next version is released (within a week usually).
Thanks for the suggestion!

Deleting doubles of concerts
Sometimes concerts are added multiple times even though they are the same concert. So sometimes like 5 entries of the same concert exist (for example Rock en Seine is one I attended where I didn’t know which one was the right one to add cause there were so many)
13 votesWe run processes every night that automatically searches and merges duplicate concerts. We've already merged almost 1,000,000 duplicate concerts! Typically when you find that duplicates still show on the site it's because some of the information doesn't match up. For example, the Venue name or the Location will be slightly wrong. We are continuously working to clean up data like that which will always be an ongoing effort.
As far as fact checking, we have people on our team that do that too but due to the sheer volume of concerts that are always happening we rely on our users to submit corrections and help with that. Thank you!

Hide cover photos on profile
Make an option to be able to hide concert cover photos on your profile. They take up a lot of room on your profile and can mess up how your profile looks, or make it so you can't see the cover photos on anyone's profile, but only on the page for that specific concert.
4 votesIn the app there is now an option to choose "Compact" view which doesn't display cover photos in concert lists. And there is "Comfy" view which does show them. There is more info mentioned in this post: https://www.patreon.com/concertarchives/posts/version-17-cover-164597878

Allow a search for an act AND a venue or city at the same time.
I can search for an act (Iron Maiden) or I can search for a venue (Universal Amphitheater). But it would be nice if I could search for the act and a venue, or city, at the same time. As it stands, I have to scroll through thousands of listings, and know the approximate date of the show, to find either the show or the act. And sometimes, they performed at more than one venue in the same or adjacent cities. If I don't know the venue, searching for an act AND the city should narrow down the search considerably.
2 votesYou can actually do this already by searching "Concerts" in the app or if you are on the website using the Past Concert Search Engine.
In your example, you would just search "Iron Maiden Universal Amphitheater" or "Iron Maiden Los Angeles" and the results will show up like this: https://www.concertarchives.org/past-concert-search-engine?utf8=%E2%9C%93&search=Iron+Maiden+Universal+Amphitheater

Can a rule be set that does not allow US state abbreviations and auto corrects for location?
Concerts are showing up as two different cities as in the attached example. Utica, New York has 788 concerts and Utica, NY has 86 concerts, yet they are the same place. This could also be standardized for imported concerts such as Songkick.
https://www.concertarchives.org/locations?utf8=%E2%9C%93&search=Utica%252C+ny
0 votesHey there, we do account for state abbreviations for the US, Canada, and Australia when we do concert imports from 3rd party services. The trouble is typically from users who input the locations manually as there typically isn't enough info (a valid country name, etc) for us to infer that they are abbreviating a state name. I'm going to mark this idea as 'Completed' but there are always improvements that we can make as we continue to build systems to standardize the data. Thanks for submitting this suggestion! --Justin

Claim artist profile
I'd like to claim and administrate the artist page of a band (lately available since the latest update) to correct information such as the website (which in case of my band is wrong).

Pictures/videos only show up on the artists page if they are specifically tagged not just if they played in a show.
For example I went to a festival and all my tons of festival videos show up on each artist’s page although I specifically tagged who is who.
3 votesThanks for the suggestion! We've added this feature so now on the band's Photos/Videos page you can click the 'Tagged Only' filter to only show Photos/Videos where the band has been specifically tagged.
This isn't too useful yet because most people don't tag their photos (and it wasn't an option until recently in the mobile app) but hopefully this will encourage more people to utilize the tags.

Enter date directly or with year-choice drop downs
I'm trying to construct 50-year old concert performances. Having to scroll back through 600 calendar months for each concert is unrealistic. Just give us a drop-down of years (or better yet years, months, days) and then force us to confirm the date and day of the week on the appropriate calendar display.
3 votesOn the website the date fields work this way currently. For the mobile app, we've made them work the same way in the new major version which will be coming our in 1-2 months. Thanks for the suggestion!

update locations
Taylor County Expo Center is not in Dallas. It is in Abilene Texas. This should be updated.
