Please add an option to add FUTURE concerts with wishlist option :)
Ideally I would like to add planning concert I have tickets already. It can be just a wishlist, or calendar view. Then I would like to click on Archive button to move particular concert.
1 voteI just added quite a few new features around ‘upcoming concerts’. You can see more details on the Release Notes here: https://www.concertarchives.org/release-notes
I also added the “Bucket List” feature a few months ago that is like a wishlist.
Thanks for the suggestions!

Separate upcoming concerts, and/or send reminders of upcoming concerts.
Separate upcoming concerts from past concerts, and send reminders via email for upcoming concerts.

Enable adding videos directly onto the website (from your laptop, tablet or phone).
This feature would give you the opportunity to upload videos you made to a concert, even if you don't work with YouTube to store all your concert videos.
42 votesYou can now upload videos directly to Concert Archives from the app or the website! This is a really big milestone and took a lot of work, so we're excited to add this new ability 🎉 You can read more about the latest update here: https://www.concertarchives.org/backstagepass/our-biggest-update-ever/

Missing concerts on main list of users' profiles
I notice that when I go either to my concert list or another person's concert list it doesn't show all of their concerts attended of you click on the person's username. Like there's no page 2 or 3 and so on. I notice that when I go either to my concert list or another person's concert list it doesn't show all of their concerts attended of you click on the person's username. Like there's no page 2 or 3 and so on. Is this a bug or something? I know that people will only check the main list on people's…
2 votesI added a link below the Concert list on the user’s profile page to make it more obvious that there are additional concerts to view.

Shows your archive to users who have attended many of the same shows as you. Great way to make new concert buddies!
Shows you archives of people who have attended a lot of mutual shows. Great way to make friends!
14 votesThere is now a ‘Recommended Users’ feature under the ‘Social’ menu to do this. The users listed on top are ones who attended the same concerts. Below that are ones that saw many of the same bands (at different concerts).

Option to Make Your Archive Private
Just like with other forms of social media, members should have the ability to decide whether their personal archive should be searchable/viewable by the public or other members. Some type of privacy settings and options would be a very welcome addition.
25 votesUsers are now able to set their profiles as ‘Private’!
More information about how it works is available here: https://www.patreon.com/posts/private-profiles-18645238

Re-order bands or indicate Headliner act
It would be nice to have a check box to indicate the headliner, so when you view the details the headliner is always at the top of the band list instead of defaulting to alphabetical order.
19 votesYou can now drag and drop the bands into the correct order :)
-
Bands seen vs Bands played
bands you saw at the concert vs bands attended
24 votesThis is complete! On the concert page you can now select the bands that you saw. The other “not-seen” bands won’t count towards your statistics.

ability to merge venue names
Ability to merge all venues with the same name. Example: there's one venue named the Troubadour in West Hollywood, but there are seven different entries for it on the site
4 votesI’ve put in a good amount of work this last week cleaning up issues around duplicate data.
I’ve also added the ability for users to report data issues so that I can fix them on the back end. Next time you log in, you’ll see a link in the top navigation for “Report Issue” where you can file issues.
Cheers,
Justin
P.S. Troubadour is all cleaned up.

Allow editing of the cover photo
Would be pretty cool if there was the ability to move a cover photo up or down (similar to how it works on Facebook's timeline view). Some photos get cut off/cropped and would be cool to be able to edit the viewable portion of it by sliding it up or down a little bit.
7 votesYou can now crop the photo when you set it as the Cover Photo :)
-
Be able to follow users
It would be cool to get notifications about the concerts my friends are adding.
27 votesThis is done! You can now follow your friends on Concert Archives :)
When you are logged into the site check out the ‘Social’ area in the navigation.

On the concert list, show the bands that played when there is a concert title (like Lollapalooza)
I would like a way to list the name of the event (Virgin Fest '12) while also being able to see the bands that played - WITHOUT having to click deeper into the list.

Prevent Songkick database from populating title field
I've noticed that when a user adds a concert using the 'Search for Past Concerts' function, the title field is automatically populated with not only the artist name but also the venue and date. Since venue and date are already included in their own separate fields, it would be great if the title field only showed the artist name or show title where applicable.
1 voteThe system should catch this situation most of the time now while still letting through legitimate concert titles (like “Coachella 2018” for example).
I also have a process running right now that’s going through all of the pre-existing concerts and standardizing the Songkick titles to match rest (“Band 1 / Band 2 / Band 3”).

rules
Clearly post a set of rules for adding submissions. I have already seen too many submissions wherein the user has decided to Title an event with the band/venue/date information that populates those respective fields.
For instance: The Maine at The Fillmore Silver Spring (October 13, 2018)
Should only be The Maine. The format of the webpage will show us the concert's date (far-left column) and venue (right column) without this needing to be repeated in the Title.

Add a feature to link Songkick account
I used to track the shows I went to on Songkick. Since the concerts already pull from their database, it would be great to transfer over shows I marked as attended on there
4 votesThis has been added :)
Under the “+ Add Concert” menu, there is an option to import the concerts from your Songkick account.
Cheers,
Justin
