Broaden the search function again
Until recently, I was able to use the search function on the iOS app by typing any criteria (artist, venue, year, location) into the search term field. It seems that now, users are forced to choose a single search criteria via a drop down menu next to the search term field.

Hey Justin - thanks for the information. It was user error on my end. I was using a similar search as I did with the past search tool “first avenue prince 2007” but not selecting anything from the drop-down. So then I’d go just “Minneapolis 2007” or the like and get TONS of results making it hard to find that 2007 show (lots of scrolling).
After reading your reply my brain gets it and I’m not having the same issue. Enter info, select concerts, see results. Derp. Appreciate the explanation!

@Trevor and @Stacy, could you provide more details about why it's harder to find older concerts now than it was before?
In Stacy's example, I searched for "First Avenue 2007" and selected "Concerts" from the dropdown. The results I got were all concerts from First Avenue in 2007, which is what I would expect. For this particular search you might also be better off browsing to the First Avenue venue page, going to their 'Years' screen, and browsing all of their 2007 concerts rather than using the search.
Using more specific search terms is going to result in better search results. For example, including the band name like "Prince First Avenue 2007".

The way the search function now works is so limiting and makes it 10x harder to find shows - esp if they’re more than a week old. Try and find a concert from 2007 at First Avenue - good luck.
