FAQ: How can I access the account of somebody who passed away? ("Legacy Transfers")

At Concert Archives, we know that concert memories are more than just events, they’re moments that connect us to the people we love. If someone close to you has passed away, we want to help ensure their concert history remains a part of your shared story. Our "Legacy Transfer" process allows a loved one to take over their account, so you can continue cherishing those memories and the experiences you had together.

How the Legacy Transfer Process Works

If you have access to your loved one's email account, you can reset their password using the Forgot Password feature on our login page. Once logged in, you can update the email address and retain full access to their account.

If you do not have access to their email, you can request a Legacy Transfer by providing some details about the deceased and your relationship to them. Once we receive your request, we will send a series of emails confirming that the email address is inactive before transferring the account. The process takes about 4 weeks.

Requesting a Legacy Transfer

To begin a Legacy Transfer, please email a request to [email protected] providing the following details:

  • Their Name
  • Where they lived
  • When they passed away
  • Their email address or username associated with their Concert Archives account
  • Your Name
  • Your relationship to them
  • The email address that the account should be transferred to

Once we complete the verification process, you will receive instructions on accessing the account. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out to our support team at [email protected].
