Allow editing of the cover photo
Would be pretty cool if there was the ability to move a cover photo up or down (similar to how it works on Facebook's timeline view). Some photos get cut off/cropped and would be cool to be able to edit the viewable portion of it by sliding it up or down a little bit.
7 votesYou can now crop the photo when you set it as the Cover Photo :)

Omit Missed Acts
Add a function to omit bands on a line-up that you missed/skipped. Often times, I'll go to a show with 4 acts on it, but end up late and miss the openers. Don't wanna list bands on my page I missed.
7 votesThis is complete and live on the site :)

Be able to easily change order of bands
As of right now the only way to change the order of bands for a specific show is to delete every one below it, save it, and then add the bands in the correct order. The perfectionist in me wants it to always be the order they played, and for some reason the orders get wonky on this site sometimes.
7 votesYou can now drag and drop the bands into the correct order :)

Make concert pages editable wiki-style
Make concert listings wiki-style so people can edit and contribute instead of making a duplicate entry when data is missing
6 votesHi there, that's the way the system works. If you want to edit a concert, you first add yourself as an 'attendee' and then you are able to edit the data wiki-style.

Add "cancelled" tag to concert that was scheduled but abandoned or cancelled
Would be great to get insight into performances that were scheduled for a specific date, but were cancelled. Perhaps a "Rescheduled" tag could be used to define shows that were cancelled, but a future date has been set.
This would be good for venues or promoters to see which artists or acts are more likely to cancel when trying to attract talent or promote a show.
Right now, there are no databases that provide this information in an organized fashion.
6 votesYou can now set concerts as ‘Cancelled’ or ‘Rescheduled’! To do that, go to the concert’s ‘Edit’ page and then click ‘Advanced Options’.
Thanks for the suggestion :)

Shortening Festivals to Bands You Saw
Moving this over to the feature request list as suggested. For the larger festivals with lots of bands and artists performing we have the option to check off the ones we actually saw which is really great. When you look back to your full concert list it showcases all of them, which becomes very clunky. This would specifically be neat for festivals but really any type of concert is that your personal concert list only showcases the bands you've checked off under the tour name. You can still see all the artists there when you go to the concerts page…
5 votesThis is completed! On your concert page, the list of bands that you saw are big and bold. The ones you didn’t see are all grouped together in a small text list so they don’t take much room.
Thanks for the suggestion!

Tweaks for photo uploading
Photos uploaded do not auto-orient themselves. If a picture was taken vertically, it uploads horizontally (so, sideways) and there is no way to edit orientation. Could either be fixed while uploading, or after picture is uploaded.
4 votesI believe this was fixed awhile back. Let me know if it’s still an issue.

add option to merge venues listed under multiple names
Saw the Troubadour issue, but can't find Report Issue. In Stockholm, Sweden, Johanneshovs Isstadion is duplicated under the shorter name Isstadion
4 votesThese have been merged together. Sorry it took so long, the 'Ideas' list isn't actively monitored. If you come across issues like this in the future, you can email us at [email protected] instead to receive a quicker response.

Add a feature to link Songkick account
I used to track the shows I went to on Songkick. Since the concerts already pull from their database, it would be great to transfer over shows I marked as attended on there
4 votesThis has been added :)
Under the “+ Add Concert” menu, there is an option to import the concerts from your Songkick account.

More user interaction. Ability to like (and comment?) other users concerts
As I scroll through another users concert listing, it would be awesome if I could quickly like a concert and send them a short comment. The like/comment could show up in a messages/activity section. I just think it would be fun to add more interaction between users to make it more fun.
4 votesHi Ryan (and others),
You can already Like and Comment on other people’s concerts on the right side of the Concert page. Here’s a screenshot: http://dl.dropbox.com/u/31839/Screenshots/bsw2.png
When you Like/Comment the user will receive an email notification. I plan to add an ‘Activity Stream’ / ‘News Feed’ in the future.
Cheers!

ability to merge venue names
Ability to merge all venues with the same name. Example: there's one venue named the Troubadour in West Hollywood, but there are seven different entries for it on the site
4 votesI’ve put in a good amount of work this last week cleaning up issues around duplicate data.
I’ve also added the ability for users to report data issues so that I can fix them on the back end. Next time you log in, you’ll see a link in the top navigation for “Report Issue” where you can file issues.
Cheers,
Justin
P.S. Troubadour is all cleaned up.

Spotify / YouTube integration with matching live sets
A Spotify / YouTube integration that matches either specific concerts or tours to Concerts and Bands seen would be fantastic.
4 votesYou can now play the setlist of a concert via Spotify! Just click the ‘Play setlist on Spotify’ button next to the setlist on the concert page. Hopefully YouTube integration will be coming soon too :)

fix setlists for multiday concerts.
Currently only setlists for bands playing on the first day of a multiday concert entry are displayed. To correctly link other bands' setlists, you need to specify different date.
3 votesThis was fixed a few months back. The system will now check for setlists for all days of a multi-day concert.

Combine same band name
Be able to combine the same band name so there would be no more duplicate names
3 votesIf you find duplicates, please use the ‘Report Issue’ link in the navigation and we can combine them.

include link to band page from user archives
If I'm looking at my own archive and click on the name of a band, I'd like it to redirect me to that band's page, not to my own stats about them. (Or if it must first redirect me to my own stats about them, then from THERE I'd like to be able to click a link to visit their page.)
This feels like a more natural thing to do than going up to the "browse all archives" button and just typing in a random band you've thought of.
3 votesI added some additional links like you mentioned from the “user’s band page” to the main band page. Hopefully that helps. Thanks for the suggestion!

Only include bands actually seen in totals
Currently users can tick the bands actually seen at gigs/festivals (which is a great feature!), although when looking at the number of gigs per artist and the ranking of most watched artists, all artists at these festivals are included. It would be great if artists were only included in these totals and statistics if they have actually been ticked as seen.
For example, my gig total for my number one artist is actually one higher than it should be, due to missing them at a festival in the past before I was a fan - it would be great to…
3 votesHey there, bands that are marked as "not seen" don't count toward your stats. Have a look at your concerts where the band played to make sure they are all marked seen or 'not seen' accurately. If it still doesn't look like it's adding up correctly, send an email to [email protected] with a link to the specific band and we can take a look.
Cheers,
Justin

update locations
Taylor County Expo Center is not in Dallas. It is in Abilene Texas. This should be updated.
